Chambers Russell Lawyers is a fast growing firm with its head office located in the Sydney CBD. We practice across commercial, construction, civil litigation, debt-recovery, insurance, personal injury, strata and property law.

About the role

We have an opportunity for a enthusiastic receptionist to join our growing team.  This exciting role will provide you with experience across reception and administrative duties and would suit an experienced legal receptionist or administrative assistant with a minimum of one year experience in a similar role.

Key Duties

In this front of house role, your day to day duties may include:

  • Greeting clients;
  • Answering and transferring calls;
  • Sorting incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable;
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings;
  • Maintaining and cleaning meeting rooms and kitchen areas;
  • Ordering office supplies;
  • Opening of files and file management;
  • Preparation of correspondence and court documents;
  • Arranging for the filing and service of documents;
  • Diary management;
  • Other adhoc administrative and office support duties as required.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum one year previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant;
  • Excellent attention to detail together with strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Well developed time management skills;
  • A willingness to learn, positive approach and strong initiative;
  • Intermediate skills in the MS Office suite.

We provide competitive remuneration commensurate with experience. We are also committed to reviewing remuneration annually to ensure that our staff are receiving remuneration commensurate with the value they deliver to our team and clients over time.
