About the Role:
SpeeDx are looking for a talented individual to join our Operations team as a full-time Logistic Specialist. Your primary responsibilities:
Organise shipment for medical device, molecular reagents, biological (infectious) substances and precision equipment
Organise and oversee logistics activities and functioning
Organise inbound and outbound domestic and international cold-chain and ambient shipment
Monitor shipping routing and scheduling planning
Preparing and printing the shipping labels and scheduling pick-ups
Printing shipping documents and cross-checking with the computer to ensure accuracy
Prepare with import and export documentation and commercial invoices.
Organising domestic and overseas 3rd party warehousing in relation to delivery and intake of shipment and local and internal supply sources.
Develop shipping configurations for effective ambient temperature and cold chain distribution
Validate shipping configurations for its intended purpose
Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.
Writing, reviewing and updating SOP for packing, dispatching, receiving and logistic related instructions
Monitor and apply import permit
Prepare accurate logistic reports for management
Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
Track and analyse mis-shipments to ensure they dont occur again
participate in process improvement
Ensure quality of all services and processes
Liaise with integrators / carriers to determine best routes and options for temperature control shipments
Maintain current with Integrators / Carriers to ensure optimal use of available services
To be successful in this role you will require Skills & Experience in or similar to the below:
Proven experience in logistics and warehousing
Previous experience in cold-chain logistics highly preferred
Have a positive outlook and open communication style combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be highly organized, able to multitask and possess excellent time management skills
Solid time-management skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal
Have keen and diligent work ethic with good people skills to work within this enthusiastic team
Demonstrated ability to independently problem-solve including in time critical situations
Qualifications:
5+ year experience in logistic role or relevant experience
Relevant experience in handling high precision instrument and infectious substances are highly desirable
Experiences in ERP and WMS preferred
