Groundsperson

Easy access to Pacific Highway & Gateway Motoway - with onsite parking., Full Time Position - working Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.06pm, All equipment & relevant training supplied.

Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking a dynamic Groundsperson to join our dedicated team in maintaining our college campus.  This position is full time, permanent, working Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.06pm.

• Designing and installing new gardens as directed;
• Mowing grounds and ovals;
• Weed control both manually and with chemicals;
• Fertilising, mulching and watering college grounds,
• Marking ovals for track and field as well as specific sport;
• Maintaining and installing irrigation systems as required;
• Maintain plant and equipment for the Maintenance department;
• Relief pool maintenance as required;
• Other duties as directed by the Deputy Business Manager.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and qualities:

• Hold a current Queensland Drivers Licence;
• A love of Horticulture;
• High energy and stamina;
• Previous experience working in maintaining gardens and grounds in the commercial sector;
• The ability to work independent and effectively in a team environment;
• Maintain a high level of personal and professional presentation at all times;
• Be positive in support of the Colleges traditions and Christian ethos.
