We are seeking a motivated person to join our team as a full-time Assistant / Cadet Building Inspector. The position will be to assist in providing an efficient and enthusiastic building inspection and advisory service to work with our ever-evolving mutual client base from small-medium scale local builders to Victorias leading volume domestic builders, well renowned regional commercial builders and consultants alike.
Role & Responsibilities:
Be a part of one of regional Victorias leading building surveying teams and expand your skills!
Assist with the carrying out of mandatory inspections.
Coordination and review of completion/occupancy approvals.
Attend to enquiries and engage with clients.
Review and assess documentation submitted with building permit applications.
Liaise with clients to monitor and process building permit applications.
Assist with the coordination of issuing building permits.
Qualification / Skills:
Evidence of undertaking of studies for relevant qualifications and/or registration as a Building Inspector (or part thereof).
Experience and understanding of various building methods and carrying out mandatory inspections on buildings during construction.
Prior experience and knowledge within the industry and any qualifications and/or registrations will hold applicants in good stead, as well as a sound legislative knowledge (Building Act, Regs, BCA/NCC & Standards).
Remuneration / Salary:
