The Senior Manager Aftersales Sales and Marketing role is responsible for the implementation of strategies that drive an optimum balance between parts and accessories, business profitability and customer satisfaction and increase retention.
It includes, but is not restricted to managing all Aftersales sales, marketing, budgeting, and general business plans required to achieve sustainable growth. Strong collaboration with Regional Aftersales managers is required to achieve business objectives together with vehicle sales.
About the role
Develop strategic plans to maximize opportunities for the sale of vehicle parts and accessories across the Hyundai car parc through authorised dealers and trade sales.
Parts targets wholesale, retail & GP (national, region and dealers)
Strategies, policies and incentives to increase collision component sales and combat grey / parallel markets
Implement and manage programs across Aftersales with the aim to improve to improve operational efficiency, HMCA & dealer profits and owner satisfaction.
Compile promotional and AS marketing campaigns to improve Hyundais product presence in the marketplace and increase customer retention and appeal in the trade / aftermarket
Collaborate with vehicle sales to offer value add elements enhancing vehicle sales performance through genuine accessory options
Policy maintenance across department inline with industry practices and HMCA goals and culture
Policy, collaboration and performance management with HMCAs logistics partner
Provide periodic reports to management on all Aftersales (parts, accessories & AS marketing) activities when required offering insight to key areas of performance and weaknesses.
Coordinate operations of the department to ensure that set targets are achieved
Work in conjunction with the CRM Manager and Regional Aftersales teams to drive service retention and reactivate strategies on seasonal offers
Provide advice and input to Network Development on the requirements for Dealer Enhancement Programs within AS Parts operations
Undertake contract negotiations with suppliers to establish procurement, pricing and marketing requirements to achieve primary objectives
Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure that parts and accessories are able to innovate and set the benchmarks of sales and profitability
Bachelor degree in related discipline or Master Post Graduate qualification or above
5 -7 years sound automotive industry experience with extensive background in service and parts retail or wholesale
Experience in sales and marketing execution and activities
Previous managerial experience and supervision of other personnel
Computer literate in SAP and selected applications
Knowledge of parts logistics
Contract negotiation capabilities
Experience in target setting and business planning
