Harvest Road is currently the largest integrated beef producer and processor in Western Australia supplying major supermarkets and over 35 export markets, including the iconic Harvey Beef business and the group is entering a period of rapid growth and transformation.

Harvest Road is seeking an experienced company accountant to assist the Harvey Beef business. Reporting to the Harvey Beef Finance Manager, the Harvey Beef Accountant will be based either at our Perth head office or at the Harvey operations site (negotiable with successful candidate).

The Role:

• Assist with preparation of management and financial reports.
• Fixed asset capitalisation and budget reporting.
• Assist with inventory control and reporting.
• Assist with GST and income tax compliance.
• Support external audit process.
• Assist with cashflow forecasting.
• Prepare month end journals and reconciliations.
• Assist with analysis of production information.
• Assist in business process improvement where required.

 The Person:

• Previous experience in a corporate financial environment.
• Tertiary qualification(s) in accounting (or nearing completion).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to the agri-business sector will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure and dynamic environment.
• Agile and a willingness to rearrange priorities as and when needed.
