Marketing Coordinator

The Tea Tree Gully Golf Club is seeking the services of a Marketing Coordinator to join our progressive private golf club. The successful candidate must enjoy marketing and would be suited to a person with broad background and sound understanding of all facets of marketing, covering (but not limited to) the following aspects:-
* social media; reporting/planning/communication,
* planning marketing programs to obtain financial gains / exposure to the club
* increasing golf membership
* attracting/communication of new sponsors
* promotions supporting our Dimples Award Winning Restaurant and Function Centre
* working with the community and fundraising organisations
* fundraising is one of the key roles of this position
* able to conduct competitor analysis and reporting skills
* good communication and writing skills

As Marketing Coordinator, you will work directly with the GM with the support of a Board Director. You will be responsible for creating and managing a range of projects covering increasing and maintaining golf membership, social media planning and implementation, promoting the Restaurant and Functions Centre, engaging and working with corporate sponsors. We are looking for a self-starter, who holds themself and the position accountable to measure and achieve their own performance. This person will need to have experience in marketing and requires little instruction to achieve. This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting future with our progressive golf club

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Degree/Diploma in marketing or similar
+3 years of marketing experience
Must be computer literate
Social Media savvy
Ability to build and maintain members/sponsor/community/board members/staff relationships
Excellent communication skills at all levels, written and verbal
Be a self-starter who demonstrates initiative in their work and responsibilities
DESIRABLE CRITERIA BUT NOT MANDATORY:
Experience in marketing within a sporting/community club
An understanding of fundraising/promotions
