Tropical Homes is part of the Parkside Group, a 4th generation family-owned business with strong interests in building, construction, property development, commercial development, timber milling and hardware. Tropical Homes specialise in building homes for clients that suit their lifestyle and budget. With our homes being popular we continually build across various residential estates in Townsville. 

 

Tropical Homes is looking for a motivated, client-driven and experienced individual to be part of a small but effective team, as a Sales Professional.  You will be meeting prospective clients, liaising with vendors and buyers, whilst executing a high level of customer service. The position will require you to generate leads and whilst working out of a display home. We are looking for a person with a can-do attitude. Above all, we are looking for what can't be taught - the right attitude, exceptional values and the desire to achieve exceptional outcomes.

 

To be considered for this role applicants need to be able to meet the following selection criteria:

 

• 2+ years of experience in a sales position, experience in the construction industry desirable.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent time management & organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with all types of people.
• Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Ability to work within a small Sales Team.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Hold a current C class drivers license and have own vehicle.
