The Role & Company

Working as a Contracts Manager for an $80 TO Construction company, you will have strong procurement skills, excellent trade relationships, be highly conversant in managing both AS4000 and GC21 Contracts inclusive of Head Contract Management and be well versed in seeking out both risk and opportunity within documentation. Typically working across 2 projects and working in support of a Senior Project Manager, you will be viewed as a Partner rather than subordinate as someone who can add significant commercial value to the business. It is unlikely you will have ambitions of becoming a PM, instead seeing your future in commercial management.

The Company have been established for more than 40 years and have a healthy reputation with repeat Clients in the Education, Aged Care and Development sectors. They don't build for any Client and have long standing relationships with Architects, PM firms and end users that are trusted and continually evolve. They have a significantly stable Senior Management team with more than 70 years' history in the NSW Construction Market and can demonstrate they are a reliable and ethical business who don't win every job from purely a price perspective.

Qualifications & Experience

• You will have a minimum of 7 years' experience working in Contracts Administration/Contracts Management for recognised commercial builders
• Experience across D&C as well as GC21 contracts will be viewed favourably
• You will be looking for a long term career in Contracts Management rather than Project Management
• You will be adept across differing forms of contract and see risk and opportunity within
• You will be able to commute to the Concord region
