Procurement Coordinator

Ngaanyatjarra Construction and Maintenance Services (NCAMS) is currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our team based in the Perth CBD.

 

About the role
 

We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join our construction and maintenance team.

The successful candidate will report directly to management with the purpose of procuring and coordinating the logistics of materials, plant & equipment and consumables to and from site, whilst monitoring project procurement needs, tracking movement of goods and updating registers as required. 

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play an integral role in the day to day running of a busy and growing maintenance and construction business.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Raising and receipting of purchase orders
  • Stocktake entry, analysis and resolution
  • Liaise with the project team to ensure minimum levels of materials and consumable are kept.
  • Liaise with project team regarding availability and procurement of assets, material, and consumables and required. 
  • Assist with the procurement and return (mobilisation and demobilisation) of assets, material and consumables as required.
  • Arrange, monitor and/ or transport of goods as required.
  • Development and maintenance of asset, external hire, material, and consumable registers, capturing incoming and outgoing goods and service history.
  • Maintaining delivery dockets and completing goods received advice as required.
  • Liaise with project cost control and account departments on approved suppliers, PO requests and goods received as required.
  • Coordinate regular stocktakes.
  • Ensure Chain of Responsibility compliance is met. 
  • Provide weekly project stock reports to Management.
  • Maintain SDS documentation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction and or building maintenance industry.
  • Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
  • National Police Clearance 
  • Valid Drivers License C Class minimum 
  • Experience in computer-based stock management systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment;
  • Good verbal and written communication;

Remuneration

This full-time position comes with a remuneration package that includes a base salary of $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation; four weeks annual leave, leave loading, plus salary packaging up to $15,900 per FBT year to provide more net pay.
