UI/UX Product Designer

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 (AUD) gross salary inc Super (based on experience)
Location: Remote (Team based primarily in Brisbane and East Coast Australia)

Amber is a Brisbane based fin-tech on a mission to empower people on their path to accumulating wealth, by making investing in Bitcoin as easy and accessible as possible. We are on the hunt for a product designer with UI and UX chops to join our crew as we ramp up to take our app (Available on iOS and Android) global. While we are proud of what weve been able to achieve with our product design thus far, we want to push ourselves and the product further as we prepare to put it in front of millions of more people as we look to launch globally.

At a high level we are looking for a UI/UX Product Designer who would relish the opportunity to:

• Shape engaging digital experiences our customers love. 
• Work across multiple initiatives including research, feature design, user testing, information architecture, marketing, interface design and of course user experience. 
• Craft the ongoing evolution of our product aesthetic as the brand and product are prepared to launch globally
• Tackle the complexities inherent in the digital currency and investing space and produce simple, creative and effective solutions that deliver the value our customers really want
• Collaboratively work with a cross functional tight-knit team where we all contribute to the direction and success of our product.

• Relevant experience and/or undergraduate degree or formal qualification 
• 2+ years of professional experience UX/UI design 
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• A strong understanding of how to apply design thinking when planning and scoping project work
• Experience in contributing towards a design system
• Demonstrated functional designs for mobile devices
• Strong wireframing/prototyping skills
• Experience conducting research/partnering with user researchers
• Experience partnering with engineers to release features, products, and/or services
• Experience working on complex applications
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
