Project Support Officer

We are seeking an experienced project management support officer whom takes a hands-on approach and is ready to help implement significant transformative change for 6-months (potential to extend).
Reporting into the Project Management Office (PMO) Leader, the Project Support Officer is a key member of the highly technical Above Rail Asset Management Program team. You will be expected to work alongside and support Project Managers and Change Managers and be a confident self-starter.
About the role:
Support the Project Director and Project Managers through effective, timely administration support, stakeholder engagement, communications and change support
Liaise with management, internal and external service providers, and other stakeholders in the preparation of project reports relating to project performance e.g. monthly/fortnightly status reports and governance committee updates
Update and maintain administration task sheets and information boards
Compose and proofread stakeholder communications
Develop training materials and presentations to support internal change management and communications
Support change and engagement strategy
Experience in a project management environment is preferred
Strong experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is preferred
Understanding of project management principles e.g. project lifecycles, financial management, and project controls techniques
Highly organised, meticulous, and detail-orientated
A natural collaborator with strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Autonomous, process-driven, and disciplined
