Account Manager/Internal Sales

The Role

  • In essence, its about growing the ATOM brand in your territory, and youll do that by delivering great service fast response times to requests and quotes, managing expectations and then over-delivering upon them, expanding your influence within the customers business, and knocking on the door of potential customers
  • The tools of the trade, such as car, iPhone and laptop will be supplied
  • You will also be required to service our customers internally as this role is 60% field based and 40% office based
  • There will be some requirement for travel to ensure that we are reaching the customers outside of the greater Geraldton area

Experience & Skills

  • You may not currently be in sales, but you have the desire to achieve and great communication skills. You may not currently be in customer service, but youre passionate about doing the little things for others
  • Pre-existing knowledge of industrial hardware and safety products is not required, well teach you everything you need to know
  • Experience in sales, service and industrial products is advantageous, but some of our best account managers have come from completely different industries and backgrounds. As long as youre a fast-learner and self-motivated, you have what it takes to succeed
  • Be naturally inclined to do the little things for your work colleagues in order to get the little things done for your customer you may need to influence an internal sales or warehouse colleague or two on occasion (we find sweets as effective as sweet-talking!)
