Marketing and Communications Coordinator

A new role within this reputable architecture practice will see you working with marketing, social media & PR management, client communications and brand management. The role will be highly varied, fast paced and interesting, with a lot of client and team interaction.

This is a leading Architecture / Master Planning / Interior Design & Landscape Architecture practice. Located on the Central Coast and Newcastle. They work very closely with the local community covering Local Government and Private Development including commercial, residential and public spaces.

**Please note this role can be based in either their Newcastle or Central Coast offices or it could be 100% remote. It is also a part-time - 2 days a week or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple social media platforms (including scheduled posts)
  • Use analytics tools to track the success of posts and campaigns
  • Collaborate with Videographers and Multimedia Designers
  • Create and manage database of client communications
  • Manage the referral and testimonial process in collaboration with the architects
  • Maintain a good relationship with clients and stakeholders (including periodic client surveys)
  • Award submissions management (including upcoming awards)
  • Management of the firms communications & PR initiatives
  • Coordinate industry events, proposals, and other marketing collateral (including writing press releases)
  • Produce submissions, EOIs, tenders and proposals

Skills and Experience

  • You can work on multiple projects with different timeline
  • Relevant experience within the design industry
  • Bachelors degree in marketing or similar
  • Proven experience with creating, managing, and optimising SEO and reporting on results
  • Experience in large scale, multi-faceted bid management
  • Knowledge of Analytics tools, social media, and website metrics
  • Experience with a marketing automation tool (including email campaign tools such as Mailchimp)
  • Familiarity with web design, CSS and HTML is a plus
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office and Canva
