ABOUT THIS POSITION
Our Canberra team is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manger to manage the safe, timely and profitable delivery of every project, and to ensure the clients quality standards for both project delivery and the final product are achieved.
As a Project Manager, you will be reporting the ACT General Manager and be responsible for overseeing the delivery of fitout and building refurbishment projects, including:
Safety Management, distribute, amend and implement project specific PMP
Ensure building methodology on site is the safest possible
Manage time to ensure each project being managed is delivered in accordance with the programme
Evaluate and respond to all sub-contractor EOT claims
Compile all head contract EOT claims
Manage all project financials including trade, consultant and supplier contract awards
Responsibility and management of all expenditure for project preliminaries
Demonstrate overall project leadership and control
Develop favourable client, consultant and contractor relationships acting at all times with respect and dignity
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Degree / Diploma in Project Management / Construction Management
Significant experience in construction project management role
A track record in delivery of refurbishment / fitout projects
Ability to lead a project team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Project planning and financial control
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe work places
