Part Time Paraplanner/Associate

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced paraplanner to join well regarded boutique business in the south/eastern suburbs. With the owner looking to retire out of the business, this role will be working hand in hand with the senior advisor where you will be responsible for all paraplanning duties and technical support. You will be an integral member of the team also working closely with the fabulous Client Services Officer who provides an exceptional quality of client service and advisor support.

This role will provide you with the utmost in autonomy and diversity, while seeing you responsible for the production of complex and quality SOAs, financial modelling, creating and maintaining templates, and working with the advisor in developing client strategies and more.

To be the successful candidate, you must meet the following pre-requisites:

  • RG146 compliant
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in paraplanning - complex SOA/ROA production, variety of strategies - specific experience in Insurance, Super, SMSFs and Investments
  • Sound technical knowledge base
  • Xplan experience - advanced level required
  • Exceptional client relationship/client service skills
  • High levels of accuracy, initiative and a pro-active and enthusiastic work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, and high levels of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional presentation and ability to build rapport with clients
  • True desire to be a key part of a small business and long term commitment.

Hours/days approximately 3 days per week or 4-5 shorter days. Salary circa $70-80k pro rata.
