Reporting to the Team Leader Communications, this role will assist with the delivery of council information and stories to our external and internal audiences. With a focus on digital communications, you will:
Develop and maintain Council's corporate website and other digital platforms
Create and review digital content to ensure messaging creates a point of connection and is clear, consistent and engaging
Assist with web system and other digital platform upgrades
You will also provide support in the development of print and electronic publications, media releases and other communication resources as required.
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Communications professional with a passion for connecting to the local community. You will have demonstrated experience in managing digital platforms that enhance internal and external communications. High level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills along with a flexible and collaborative approach will prove essential to your success in this role.

Starting salary of around $74K plus super All other conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Council's Enterprise Agreement and NSW Local Government (State) Awards.
