An opportunity has become available for a Full-Time Administration Manager to join our team. Your excellent time management and organisational skills, along with considerable Administration and billing will ensure your success in this position.

As the Administration Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and direction of the administrative functions of the hospital
  • Building and maintaining relationships with VMO's and Practice Managers
  • Ensuring efficient and effective workflow processes are established and maintained to meet corporate and local site key performance indicator targets.
  • Ensuring a streamlined and efficient patient admission and discharge process
  • The delivery and establishment of timely processes for billing & collection of all outstanding debt
  • Maintaining the ATB
  • Ensuring that the standard of customer service delivery to both external and internal customers is exemplary

Prince of Wales Private is located in the heart of Randwick, sharing a campus with Sydney Children's Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women and Prince of Wales Public Hospital. This provides a unique opportunity for collaborative treatment programs and advanced medical and surgical care not usually available in smaller private facilities.

The Hospital is a leading high-level tertiary healthcare facility that specialises in acute surgery and maternity services. The hospital is independently recognised for clinical safety and service excellence, and is renowned for achieving outstanding patient outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Healthcare Management or Business, or working towards the same
  • Minimum of 5 years' Full-time experience in a management role
  • Demonstrated experience working within healthcare, preferably in a hospital environment
  • Knowledge of private health fund billing and claiming processes
  • Exposure to health fund contract arrangements
  • Well-developed management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to function effectively in multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key KPI's and budget requirements whilst maintaining an outstanding service

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of hospital management information systems (WebPAS) and IT Software
