The position:

We are currently seeking an experienced, suitably qualified and highly motivated groundskeeper for a highly regarded client in Sydneys West. Initially you will be managing and completing all the groundskeeper needs for our new high-profile client. Once you have found your feet, you will assist Allied Facilities management in also managing other projects for our other top tier clients. The successful candidate will have previous experience in commercial grounds keeping/landscaping, exposure to large scale commercial projects and have excellent relationship building skills. 

Reporting to the Director of Operations, your key tasks include but are not limited:

  • Assume responsibility for the day to day maintenance and presentation of our clients sites
  • General landscaping duties such as Lawn mowing, sowing, planting, watering, fertilizing lawn and garden areas
  • Proactive contractor management
  • Timely & effective resolution of assigned maintenance tasks
  • Support team capability through sharing knowledge and best practices
  • Promote full compliance of WHS policies and procedures
  • Undertake landscaping/groundskeeper projects as directed by the client
  • Identifying and reporting any hazards or safety issues
  • Carry out any additional duties, as directed by the Village Manage

The successful candidate must have:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Australian Permanent Residency
  • Certificate 3 in Landscaping and or Asset management advantageous
  • Valid driver license
  • First Aid
  • Police Clearance
  • Proven ability to develop new business or client relationships
  • Excellent verbal communication and relationship building skills with external and internal clients, workers and stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent grooming and presentation
