With increasing sales in both supply only and supply and install total project solutions, this company is continuing to expand rapidly.  A new opportunity has been created to monitor Inventory and negotiate pricing for Stock Replenishment and Purchasing for Special Order Materials in addition to planning and scheduling production and site installations.     This specialised materials supplier and projects contractor has established a reputation as a preferred contractor with a prestigious client base due to its extensive product range and made-to-order capabilities.

 

If you aspire to work within an agile, progressive and diversified distributor and manufacturer supplying to the home handyman, DIY, residential and commercial building and construction sectors, this opportunity could be for you.  You will work closely with and support the Operations Manager and be influential in driving procedural efficiency and maintain accurate documentation and smooth operational process flow.    You will liaise with sales, estimators, suppliers, a small production team, administration, project supervisors and installers to streamline procedures and ensure in-full on-time delivery.  This will include tracking of orders from raw materials and consumables through production to finished goods ready for despatch and installation on project sites. 

 

We are seeking to appoint a Scheduler / Purchasing Officer who enjoys applying their intellect, experience and ingenuity to achieve efficiency in planning and scheduling and cost reductions through strategic purchasing best practice.   If you have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to negotiate pricing and supply orders and are looking for autonomy and an opportunity to make a difference, we need to hear from you.  General computer literacy with spreadsheets and production scheduling / control will be required and the company will negotiate an attractive salary package to secure a high calibre candidate.
