BGT Jobs & Training are currently looking for a Business Administration Trainee to play a vital role in service delivery and administration for Pyrenees Shire Council.
You will be responsible for enhancing the administration department by being the first point of contact for enquiries by the general public, through to assisting managers with their administrative duties.
As part of your on the job training, you will complete a nationally accredited qualification in Business. This training will focus on developing your business and customer service skills to set you on the path for a career ahead.
This position is a Victorian Apprenticeship Recovery Package Program (VARP), which is funded by the Victorian State Government and follows the criteria of the Youth Employment Scheme (YES) incorporating young people aged between 15-24 years.
To be successful in this role you must:
Demonstrate and deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Be well organised and embody a positive attitude
Be committed to working in a professional environment that demands a high-level of competence and performance
Demonstrate computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Have excellent communication skills

Adhere to councils safe working practices
Have a passion for learning and personal growth to successfully complete your Certificate III in Business during your traineeship
