The National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) is Australias national accreditation body. We have been delivering accreditation services in accordance with international and Australian standards since 1947, and our role is to serve the national and public interest NATA is a not for profit organisation with approximately 200 staff and offices in 5 capital cities.
About the role
The Accreditation Coordinator is a new role that forms part of the wider Accreditation Team. They will provide support to Lead Assessors and Accreditation Managers to deliver NATAs accreditation services with a client-centric and professional approach.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive person, who can work unsupervised to effectively coordinate assessment activities as well general office duties. We provide extensive training to detail further the accreditation programs and the industries in which we operate.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
Planning, coordinating and following up specified assessments activities to ensure deadlines and expectations are achieved
Providing advice and support to NATA members, and stakeholders
Building effective relationships with NATA members to grow loyalty and commitment to NATA
Collaborating with other parts of the business such as the extended Operations Team and the Engagement and Education team to ensure knowledge remains up-to-date with assessment processes
Utilise appropriate client management tools to communicate with clients effectively
Liaising with building service providers;
Maintenance of kitchen and office facilities including office supplies;
Participation in WHS inspections (training provided)
Skills, knowledge and experience needed:
Relevant academic qualifications in a related discipline such as scientific, engineering and business or equivalent experience (preferred)
Professional experience with accreditation services or equivalent activities would be highly desired
Demonstrated ability in project management skills
Demonstrated experience in building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written business and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
Intermediate skills and practical experience in software applications, document and record management software, databases and a willingness to learn new systems.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver to target, monitor and report on allocated activities
Salary and Conditions
Standard work hours are 37.5 hrs a week. Desired hours are between 8:00am to 4:30pm, but we can be flexible for the right person. We offer a competitive salary package and an excellent work environment.
