About ABC Audiences
ABC Audiences is made up of a passionate group of marketing, brand, creative, audience experience, UX and audience insights specialists who have audiences at the heart of all they do. They're responsible for leading the ABC’s brand and audience strategies, acquiring and engaging audiences both within our broadcast and digital ecosystems and working collaboratively with partner divisions to lead an integrated approach to audience insights, branding, acquisition and retention strategies, and communication.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Media Strategy & Operations, this is a key role that will see you assist with the implementation of focused promotion plans and schedules as well as providing support to the operations of our promotional airtime. In this role you will:
Coordinate and prepare daily Radio promotion schedules based on considered and targeted audience data
Ensure delivery of schedules in an accurate and timely manner through the usage of inventory planning software
Monitor, identify and recommend missing materials and support the Broadcast Inventory Manager regarding inventory management; and
Collaborate with relevant distribution teams to deliver channel schedules as planned in line with prioritisation frameworks to ensure effective planning for all channels.
To be a success in this role you will have proficient understanding of audience data, research and analytics particularly in relation to Radio, including (but not limited to) an understanding of the media planning principles of reach, frequency, impacts and target audiences. You will have experience using broadcast management software in either TV or Radio as well as syndicated media tools. With relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
