About the job
Reporting to the Director of Engineering you will be a person who can
: Diagnose and repair electronic medical equipment, such a defibrillators, patient monitoring systems and patient simulators.
: Service medical gas therapy, including oxygen regulators and flow meters.
: Conduct Routine preventative maintenance of medical equipment according to AS3551
: Work independently from our in house work shop and in the field
: Calibrate medical equipment to Australian standards and or manufacturers standards.
: Liaise directly with the customer on repairs and service calls.
: Be available to travel interstate and overseas (although limited) when required
You will have
: A TAFE /TAFE equivalent electronics qualification or Biomedical Engineering Degree
: Australian Citizenship
: The ability to display effective communications skills, both written and verbal
: The ability to learn and communicate extensive knowledge of medical equipment and their functions
: To understand and deliver a high level of customer service
: The ability to display effective time management and problem solving skills
: A current non-restrictive driver's licence
: To hold or conduct a current police check screening and aged care sector employment screening
Experience in the biomedical field would be advantageous.
