As part of our growth strategy, an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager is now available to join the team and lead our efforts across the NSW/ACT region. As the Business Development Manager, you will be required to service existing clientele and identify new project business opportunities in order to drive the sales effort in the region.

You will be required to operate across various sectors, where you will be expected to create sales opportunities to meet defined targets. In this highly integral role, you will play a key part in working with the leadership team in bringing our solutions to market.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain strong, productive, and professional relationships with clients in the chosen markets;
  • Business development through the provision of unique solutions, creating value to our customers and profit to the organisation.
  • Monitor the business environment to identify threats and opportunities for the company and initiate problem-solving responses where challenges arise;
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including engineering support, estimating services and management resources, to meet performance objectives and customers expectations.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Successful business development experience with a minimum of five (5) years employment in a similar role;
  • Working knowledge of related products and construction services;
  • Ability to understand complex government, major construction and facilities management markets;
  • Exceptional relationship management skills that demonstrate your ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Customer service mindset with strong business acumen;
  • Results driven with passion for achieving targets through solution-based sales activity;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Current Australian Drivers license and ability to travel frequently within the region, including to regional areas.
