The newly created position of Manager Dealer Support and After Sales plays a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of Goldacres. This role will have full responsibility for three key areas:
Developing and implementing the Goldacres Sprayer Centre retail strategy
Financial management; setting budgets, tracking profit margins, evaluating service and parts performance
Stock Management; monitoring stock levels, sourcing and procuring complimentary products and services, analysing trends
Marketing; managing product displays and store design, planning seasonal promotions, maintaining product and service marketing material, competitor analysis
Developing systems, processes and guidelines for the effective management and operation of the centres including IT management, staff development and training, customer complaints and warranty claims
Managing the internal dealer support team
Leading and managing the Product Support and Parts Support teams
Ensuring a technical sales capability exists to provide expertise and advice to dealers, potential dealers and clients
Maintaining a strong understanding of the customer and their needs through gathering feedback
Manage spare parts; stock management, pricing, sales promotions, stock lists and parts books
Directly supporting the Goldacres dealership network, including dealership set up, ongoing dealership support and after sales, parts and service support
Set up and fit out of new and existing dealerships including implementing systems and processes, marketing initiatives, product and parts management to maximise sales opportunities
Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential dealers as well as clients
Ensuring relevant and expert training is provided
Success in this role requires:
A proven background working in a dealership or servicing a dealer network
Experience within the agriculture industry is preferred but not essential
Strategic business management; finance, marketing, stock control, business systems and process implementation experience
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, make recommendations and solve problems
An ability to relate and see different perspectives; in this role you work for Goldacres, however you need to understand the customer and understand business from the dealership perspective as well as understanding the manufacture of products
A proven background in leading and managing a team
This role will be based out of Ballarat and requires regular travel and longer term there is the potential for this role to work remotely a couple of days per week. An attractive salary package, including a fully maintained company vehicle will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on skills and experience.
