ACCOUNT MANAGER

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Account Manager who likes variety and keeping busy.  Located in our Kent Town Office you will be working with a dedicated team who take pride in their work.  You will need to be timely, accurate, organised and have an ability to work independently at times.  Experience in a previous Account Manager role will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

  • As the first point of contact, you are responsible for successful relationship management, by displaying strong leadership and support to all functions of the role.
  • Address issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Promote and engender a culture of safety awareness and ensure safe work practices are maintained as dictated by the Occupational Health Safety & Welfare Act.
  • Answer telephone calls and direct or transfer calls to appropriate internal staff.
  • Provide administrative support to management team typing letters, sending emails etc.
  • General Phone Enquiries for major clients.
  • Email Enquiries.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  • General product enquiries.
  • Sub-Contractor / Installer Enquiries.
  • New Sub Contractor / Installer Enquiries.
  • Check Contractor Charges Against Approved Rates.
  • Customer Complaint Enquiries.
  • Provide reports to Management Team on a monthly basis (or as requested).
  • Any other task as directed by Senior Management Team.

Reporting to the Management team, we are looking for a strong team player who possesses a friendly, helpful attitude and willingness to learn, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Account Manager role.
  • Able to learn technical information.
  • Very competent in Microsoft Office Applications and custom software programs.
  • Exceptional data entry and accuracy skills.
  • A professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organisational ability.
  • The ability to follow complex processes.
