Administration & Accounts Assistant

An opportunity is open for an Accounts & Administration Assistant at our growing manufacturing company based in Smithfield. Full time position Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday's.

 

The role involves a split between administration duties, payroll and accounts duties.

 

The position will involve but not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable
    • Collate weekly EFT bills for payment
    • Review monthly A/P statements
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Assist with monthly progress claims & invoices
    • Compile and send out customer monthly statements
  • Payroll
    • Process weekly job timesheets & payroll
    • Process monthly superannuation
  • Administration
    • Reception duties
    • Motor vehicles registration and claims
    • Workers compensation insurances and claims
    • Maintain & update Asset Register
    • Various reports, letters, filing
    • Assist all teams when required

 

Requirement, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent clear English communication and interpersonal skills, with high receptionist skills
  • Computer literate and intermediate experience & understanding of MS Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Happy to work within a team and also independently
  • No experience is required, training will be provided
