THE ROLE 

Encompass Enterprises (Homestart & Readystart) are looking for an enthusiastic career starter who wants to establish a rewarding career in Warehousing AND gain a qualification!

Establish a career and assist in keeping the warehouse floor in a safe and tidy condition. Ensure stock is rotated as required from truck to floor and assist in the ongoing success and development of the Encompass Enterprises at The Hub.

DUTIES 

 

  •  Assist in the sorting and distribution  of donated goods as directed.
  • Assist in provide Warehousing duties as required which include moving furniture, unloading furniture, monitoring incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Follow all safety regulations and precautions and wear all required and necessary Personal Protective Equipment (as provided).
  • Perform other related work as required in regard to stock distribution and removal.
  •  Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Team player and help keep warehouse / display rooms in a clean and tidy state ensuring all workplace risks are kept to a minimum.
  • Adhere to and support all OH&S regulations and requirements in line with the OH&S Act (1986) and Encompass Community Services Inc. policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a positive approach to all task and build strong quality relationships with staff, volunteers, customers, participants and management of Enterprises and Encompass Community Services Inc.

ABOUT YOU

  • Hold a current Drivers licence.
  • Must be physically fit and able to move furniture with assisted equipment trolleys, rollers etc.
  • Have an understanding of the Community Store environment and Business enterprises.
  •  Willing to learn new skills 
  • Be honest, reliable and flexible      
  • Willingness to work under the Encompass Principles.
  • Professional approach and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident manner and a positive approach to change.
