Sales and Business Development Manager

By-Health, best known for its premium range of eatable beauty products, is currently one of the biggest and most reputable Vitamin and Dietary Supplement brands in China. By-Health acquired Australias Life-Space Group in 2018. Following the acquisition, By-Health launched their premium range to the Australian market. The company is set for exponential growth in the coming years, is publicly listed and is currently worth $700b Australian dollars. 

An exciting opportunity has risen for an experienced and passionate Sales and Business Development Manager to join the By-Health International team based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will be overseeing and managing the sales and business development performance of the By-Health brand on an international scale. 

This role will be responsible for:

  • Driving sales growth through the expansion of the brand
  • Formulation, implementation and ongoing management of the distribution and sales strategy (predominantly for ANZ)
  • Oversight of Sales Team Leaders, to ensure delivery of annual business plans
  • Management of below the line activities in each channel to maximise effectiveness and to protect pricing strategy
  • Provision of accurate sales forecasting 
  • Developing and maximising strong relationships with key accounts across all channels
  • Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships with align and achieve business goals and outcomes

Our ideal candidate has demonstrated outstanding results in a similar role within FMCG or Pharmacy channels. They possess a deep understanding of the sales and marketing of healthcare products across multiple channels in ANZ and abroad. Additionally, they possess the following:

  • Minimum level of education Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree is preferable but not mandatory)
  • 5+ years experience in a Sales/Account Management/Business Development role in FMCG or Pharmacy channel
  • Extensive understanding of and experience in distributer management
  • High level interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Prior experience managing P&L, resources, budgets and forecasting
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities

Please note, frequent domestic and international travel will be required.
