Recruitment Adviser

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Recruitment Adviser is responsible for managing the end to end recruitment activity to source, assess, select and appoint talent to Providence. This role will also provide expert advice and knowledge on best practice recruitment techniques including the use of technology to streamline and enhance the candidate experience and ultimately the recruitment outcomes for Providence. In addition to recruitment this role will provide generalist HR support under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager.

The role

  • Manage the recruitment process and identify opportunities to advance and enhance Providences recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • Manage multiple sourcing channels and recruitment campaigns including maintaining critical relationships with high calibre talent for future opportunities.
  • Manage candidate research and attraction through professional networks, social media, referrals and headhunting including LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Organise and participate in interviews and oversee the selection process
  • Manage the approval and offer process to successful candidates, including the negotiation of salary and benefits
  • Manage data and prepare reports as required
  • Maintain and administer Providences HR Management system
  • Manage the onboarding and induction process for new employees
  • Assist with other HR related activities as required

You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Highly motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Demonstrate advanced communication skills, including a highly professional phone manner
  • Able to build rapport and manage relationships
  • Adaptable, flexible, show initiative and a willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in a recruitment role
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related discipline will be advantageous
