Student Services and Academic Support

We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced administrator who will assist and support the Director of Studies and teachers in the delivery of the curriculum to students and is responsible for student services. 

Caloundra Christian College is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 independent Christian school on the Sunshine Coast. Description

We are looking for a reliable individual, with minimum three years experience to perform key administrative duties including:

  • Provide exemplary client service and assistance (via face to face, telephone, and electronic communication).
  • Maintain the student management system for subjects, classes, and achievements
  • Publish and distribute lists for classes, subjects, duties, room allocations and timetables
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Studies as determined necessary but may include diary management, appointment scheduling and other secretarial like duties
  • Proofread, print, and distribute letters
  • Coordinate the teacher aide admin responsibilities
  • Assist in organising activities for teachers and leaders, such as excursions, sports carnivals, sports activities, and camps
  • Follow up risk assessments and manage the electronic filing process prior to activities
  • Monitor stationery stock levels and reorder as necessary with approval
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating student-related College events such as, but not limited to, Year 12 Formal, Parent/teacher Interview evenings, Information Evenings, Presentation Award Evenings, End of Year Celebrations

Personal Requirements

The successful person will possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task professionally and efficiently, remaining calm under pressure
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and Google Suite
  • Ability to ensure high levels of confidentiality are maintained
  • Ability to work autonomously, showing resilience, flexibility, and adaptability    
  • Excellent personal grooming and professional presentation

Applicants are required to demonstrate a Christian commitment consistent with the Colleges Ethos and must have or be willing to obtain a Working with children blue card and a current first aid certificate with CPR. Previous experience in an education environment is desirable.
