Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to join our team!

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, youll be responsible for the maintenance of Wallaras facilities and buildings across the organisation. Youll need practical knowledge in facility and building maintenance and/or have a trade background, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and excellent organisation and time management skills.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge in facility and building maintenance
  • Trade background preferable
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to prevent and resolve issues and to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including staff, residents and clients
  • Excellent administration, communication skills and computer literacy in order to complete appropriate documentation make sure the ts are crossed and is dotted
  • Resourceful and innovative approach
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills and the ability to think laterally
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to exceptional service delivery and a demonstrated professional approach to work
  • Commitment to the principles of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation

Must haves

  • Right to work in Australia
  • Mandatory police check and Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme (DWES) check will be conducted
  • Full Victorian drivers licence
