About the role
The Customer Operations Specialist is responsible for actioning and reporting on inbound enquiries, support and sales transactions to effectively monitor the efficiency of processes from receipt of order to dispatch, providing product information, advice and support to customers, and maintaining effective internal sales and administrative procedures for the recording of all sales transactions, as well as identifying sales leads and escalating them to the Customer Sales team.
You will start off on a 7 month contract initially with the view to extend.
Key roles and responsibilities
Receive inbound sales orders, provide product information, advice and support to customers, and maintain effective internal sales and administrative procedures for the recording of all sales transactions from receipt of order to dispatch and payment.
Process and manage new business, renewals, alterations and cancellations according.
Identify sales leads and escalate them to the Customer Sales team, recording these in the CRM
Keep the sales database up to date with relevant information and interactions
Assist with the maintenance and updating of the Customer Operations Manual that details all policies and procedures pertaining to the Customer Operations team
Provide administrative support for the production of tenders, bids and other sales related documentation
Actively collaborate across the business, and continuously look for ways to add value.
Experience and skills
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience gained from working in the cyber security, technology, or professional services industry
Diploma level / Cert IV in business, operations, project management or related field
Able to process and manage new business, renewals, alterations, and cancellations to high standards of customer service
Experience providing administrative support to produce tenders, bids, and other salesrelated documents
Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner
