The Role 

The role would see you undertaking arrears management for a home loan portfolio.  Operating within policy, you will partner with customers experiencing hardship to honour payment arrangements and readjust loan profiles as appropriate. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Action customer assistant requests under National Credit Code's hardship provisions
  • Monitor agreed payment arrangements
  • Prepare correspondence and appropriate documents for customers
  • Assess, analyse and renegotiate payment arrangements where appropriate  

Your Background 

  • Experience in mortgage collection and arrears management   
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • An empathetic disposition
  • Qualifications in Accounting or Finance highly regarded
