We are a small business that sells quality clocks from Germany. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is proficient in Ecommerce with a willingness to learn and do whichever task is at hand with speed and accuracy. We are a close-knit team who are passionate about our products and focus on providing excellent customer service.

We are a husband and wife team with 3 young children continuing in the family business that opened 27 years ago. We are proud to take over the reins and we are looking to further develop the Ecommerce sales channel, to compliment our beautiful store in Montville. The role commences immediately as a casual position with the potential to increase to permanent part/full time. Shifts are negotiable for the right candidate, who must be able to work 15-30 hours/week, predominantly in the morning period (9-2 Mon-Fri). There may be additional hours during busy periods.
Skills and experience required:
Proven experience working in an Ecommerce role is essential. Picking, packing and dispatching orders is a crucial aspect of the role. Experience with social media and email marketing using mailchimp is beneficial. Technical experience to create product photo/video content is also beneficial. Confident and competent use of windows based PCs is a must. Experience working with CSV / spreadsheets will be advantageous. A genuine appreciation for the beautiful clocks and household items we import from Germany. Some experience in a customer service industry valuable but not essential. A strong ability to work independently, as you may need to work solo at times. Ability to communicate technical information about orders clearly and succinctly to customers and team members. A sense of urgency and ability to prioritise deadlines for orders. Experience in a warehouse environment valued but not essential. A preparedness to learn about clocks. A love of quality workmanship and fine goods a bonus.
