As the Security Advisor - Bank, you will responsible for the provision of Physical Security advice and support to their assigned Lines of Business (LOB).
You will ensure that Physical Security manages relevant strategic and operational requirements and will foster relationships with key stakeholders make sure that our customer needs are met.
More specifically you will
Engage with key stakeholders to understand the strategy and objectives of their teams and work to ensure physical security considerations are incorporated
Provide security advice to assist in the strategic planning for business relocations, closures and new sites
Advise and inform financial impacts on business strategies and options
Proactively manage LOB relationships, achieve demonstrated improvement in Security awareness, customer satisfaction and provide high levels of customer service
Work with the Physical Security team to provide guidance, support and recommendations for relevant escalated security issues
Provide awareness of relevant Security Policy and Procedures relevant to the assigned LOB
Work with Security Operations and contracted Security vendors to understand cost drivers to effectively manage and or reduce security costs for assigned LOB
Identify, prioritise, scope and project manage nominated LOB Security projects and initiatives in collaboration with the Security Technology Advisors
Establish and maintain security training programs (content) including Robbery Response and Dealing with Aggressive/ Distressed Customers for assigned LOB
Knowledge and Experience
Experience in customer service or customer relationship management
Project management or significant contribution to a project as a team member
Bank, Contact Centre or Commercial Building operational experience is desirable
Security industry and Security Risk Management experience is desirable
Law Enforcement and / or Military Experience is desirable
High level of ability to consult, negotiate and influence stakeholders
Ability to work with all levels in an organisation and build and foster relationships and networks
Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets
Certificate IV in Security Risk, or tertiary qualifications in Security or a related field are desirable.
