Receptionist

Previous experience in a fast environment crucial, Build relationships at all levels including with Board Members & Executives, Fantastic culture and benefits.

As the Receptionist you will be working with the Corporate Services Team. With your primary focus on reception duties, you will be providing CUA visitors, management and staff with genuine welcoming, friendly, efficient and superior front of house service and administrative support as the first point of contact for all visitors to CUA's head office in Brisbane.

You will ensure our conference rooms are appropriately stocked and tidy, as well as assist where required with meeting room bookings and set-up for events. You will also receive courier deliveries and mail, assist with the new starter on-boarding process, monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness.

  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • You are a customer service legend, able to liaise and build relationships at all levels of the business including with Board Members and Executives
  • Calm and considered under pressure while using finesse to manage the details
  • Tech savvy, able to operate audio visual equipment including projectors, televisions, tele-conferencing systems and identify and resolve equipment/user errors
Essential Experience
  • Experience in a front of house role where you have had to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Customer service experience in a corporate environment, including room management and visitor management
  • Event co-ordination and/or hospitality
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands
  • Strong information management capabilities required, advanced Microsoft skills including presentation, spreadsheet and word processing skills
  • Proactive approach with the desire to learn and assist where necessary
