ABOUT THE ROLE

With a recent internal promotion, an exciting opportunity presents itself for a confident, enthusiastic and sales driven individual to join our award-winning Hobart Mazda team.

This is a permanent full-time position, working a 10-day per fortnight roster, reporting to the Dealer Principal & Group Business Manager.

Hobart Mazda is a part of Your Local Motor Group (LMG). We are a dynamic and evolving Tasmanian based automotive company which sells, services and finances quality new, demo and used vehicles, employing more than 350 Tasmanians across the state.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent and promote the dealership, brand and F&I products to the marketplace with the highest integrity
  • Working closely with our sales and management teams, you will be actively involved in the day to day management of our sales process
  • Responsible for the F&I departments income and profitability targets
  • Manage the end-to-end finance application process
  • Accurately prepare and execute F&I documentation
  • Maintain comprehensive, accurate, up-to-date customer details and record of transactions
  • Adhere to all finance company policy requirements, together with all appropriate legal and legislative compliance

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Be able to demonstrate a strong background in sales, particularly within the automotive industry or retail environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop excellent relations with members of the team to maximise F&I sales opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality before, during and after sales service with professionalism, enthusiasm and strong communication skills
  • Well-developed IT skills, attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent time management, administration and organisational skills
  • Be consistent in following our sales process, and being part of an accountable and driven high performing sales team
