An opportunity exists for a Senior Technical Administrator. The Role Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Senior Technical Administrator will provide professional executive administrative support to the Chief Technology Officer and associated team members in a timely, accurate and confidential manner. You will maintain the Chief Technology Officer’s diary and prioritise meetings, obligations and workflow as required to ensure that the relevant parties are kept informed and up to date of daily schedules and commitments and to maximise the efficient use of the Chief Technology Officer and System and Technology Managers available time.
You will have the ability to use independent judgement in the absence of the Chief Technology Officer to prioritise and action important matters, prepare and distribute correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and reports as required by and on behalf of the Chief Technology Officer and System and Technology Managers ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
You will provide support to the Project Steering Committees, purchase goods and services, make travel and accommodation arrangements, as per ARTC policies and procedures, arrange purchase orders and process invoices for payment and complete reconciliations for corporate credit cards. You will manage the Systems and Technology Teams and SharePoint Environments and coordinate or carry out additional tasks to support business operations and major projects as required.
Knowledge, skills and experience required for this role:
Demonstrated previous experience as a personal assistant for a senior manager in a large organisation.
Extensive proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams and SharePoint.
Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills, including previous experience in writing documents on behalf of a senior manager.
Ability to work with limited supervision and make independent decisions when necessary.
Demonstrated ability to use judgement and discretion when dealing with enquiries and disseminating information.
Desirable for this role:
Previous experience working in the Rail Industry.
Certificate/Diploma in Administration or related.
