The Service Centre Operator is responsible for providing accurate, high quality customer service to TasNetworks customers through a variety of channels.
You will be responding to a variety of business and residential customer enquiries via phone, email or through written correspondence, providing quality customer service to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
This is a high paced customer focused role, managing competing demands of internal/external stakeholders, maintaining & building strong collaborative working relationships.

At TasNetworks, we own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, efficient and reliable electricity supply to more than 285,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Marinus Link is a proposed 1500 megawatt capacity undersea and underground electricity connection to link Tasmania and Victoria, supported by transmission upgrades as part of Australias future electricity grid. The National Electricity Market is transforming as new energy generation infrastructure replaces ageing infrastructure. Marinus Link and supporting transmission upgrades can help smooth this transition by providing access to a low-cost clean and reliable energy supply for customers!
You will have experience in call centres or other customer service role.
Have a familiarity with call centre processes and sound knowledge of utility/industry processes to be able to take care of a range of customer and business enquiries.
Have the ability to balance the various priorities and communicate accurate information to a wide range of stakeholders, using multiple communication channels.
You will be driven, adaptable, resilient and be able to use your initiative to make sound decisions.
