The Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service Inc. (AWAHS) provides first class Primary Health Care Services to the Aboriginal community who reside in Albury / Wodonga and surrounding areas.

We are growing and we expect this growth to continue, to manage this growth strategies have been put in place including the separation of certain roles resulting in this new Office Manager role. This senior management position is responsible for the effective management and coordination of the administration department which includes reception, administration and client transport.

Selection Criteria for the role;

  • Qualifications and/ or extensive experience relevant to the role
  • Management experience in a health or medical environment an advantage
  • Proven successful staff management experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the local Aboriginal community in a non-discriminative and professional manner
  • Advanced computer skills preferably with medical administration programs experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
