The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified and have a minimum of 5 years of experience preparing tax returns, financial statements and BAS across a range of entity types including self-managed superannuation funds.
Ideally you will have previously worked with small to medium sized clients and have experience accounting for various business structures including trusts. It is important that you have a strong client focus, excellent problem solving capabilities and a high attention to detail that enables you to look beyond the numbers and work with the client on the bigger picture.

Working as part of a small team, you will work on all aspects of client files covering all areas of compliance and taxation across a broad client base including farming, manufacturers, service industries, construction and other trades offering more than just the standard compliance work.
The position includes:
Preparation of income tax returns for all entities including individuals and SMSF.
Preparation of business & Instalment Activity statements
Assist clients with their internal accounting programs such as MYOB and Xero
Contact with clients, the ATO and other parties as required.
Provision of other client services and preparation of other documents as required.
Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and self-managed superannuation funds
A working knowledge of the main client accounting packages such as MYOB and Xero along with MYOB AE and Class accounting software packages is desirable.
