The Site Foreman/Supervisor is responsible for onsite supervision of team members, ensures high level of performance, providing good level of leadership skills and maintains constant communication with Project Manager for any foreseen tasks required onsite.
Essential Job Functions
Fully comply with WHS and IRATA requirements on site
Lead daily safety meetings to go over hazards on site.
In charge of planning detailed rescue plans and ensuring all technicians understand and follow the Work and Rescue plan.
Carry out work area and rope anchor inspections before anyone commences on operations.
Oversee that their whole team is following procedure and safety protocols.
Responsible for monitoring new Rope Access technicians.
Report and investigate any minor or major incidents.
Responsible for conducting site emergency and rescue procedures.
Able to read complex technical drawings and processes
Willingness to be flexible, e.g. changes of scope
Able to work at height up to 200metres
Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAMs Core Values
Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
On-call weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to lift and carry 25 Kg
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively
Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties
Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations
Candidates must have the following valid qualifications and licences:
IRATA licence, preferred
Australian Drivers Licence
Working Safely at Heights
Current Australian work rights (Australian citizen or correct VISA)
Trade/Construction certified preferred but not essential
To have an apprenticeship, preferred but not essential
High school diploma or equivalent required
Industry Experience Leading Projects
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Products
Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
Experience of multi-tasking in a busy environment and be a team player.
Must have an excellent work ethic
Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol medical clearance
Show initiative and be a team player
Problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box and react quickly to changing situations.
