Operations/Stock Control

What is your role

This is a unique job role that is a little different from general administration duties. The role involves;

  • Scheduling jobs for tradespeople, and liaising with clients;
  • Entering data/allocations in relation to MYOB
  • First point of contact for the office phone
  • Ordering stock for upcoming jobs;
  • Organising, and stacking solar panels for upcoming jobs;
  • Unloading stock from trucks and organising the workshop with the site forklift;
  • Invoicing customers to maintain cashflow;
  • Addressing operational challenges either on-site or in the office;
  • General customer service;
  • Following policies and procedures;
  • Responding to incoming phone calls and emails in a timely manner to adhere to project timelines;
  • Attending job sites to have on-site training and provide administrative assistance to the Company Director where needed;
  • General work orders and administration duties to ensure all jobs are organised and all related paperwork is completed; and
  • Problem-solving;
  • Maintaining stock cycle counts;

What we need from you

  • Previous accounting/cashflow experience;
  • Good phone manner;
  • Open C class licence;
  • Own reliable transport;
  • Ability to problem solve using self intuition;
  • Attention to detail;
  • General customer service experience;
  • Sufficient computing and administrative skills;
  • A self-starter and team player who is proactive;
  • Ability and confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own work;
  • An open mind and willingness to learn new skills and take on a broad range of tasks;
  • A positive attitude in relation to taking on a challenge
