Due to continued growth and demand for our services, we have a newly created role for a part-time Recruitment Officer to join the CBS Inc. Corporate Services team, based at our modern and conveniently located Head Office in the Adelaide CBD.
Reporting to the Executive Manager Corporate Services & Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing recruitment activities for all roles across our 24 metropolitan and rural sites. This role will work alongside the CBS Inc. HR Officer. This position will initially be offered on a part-time (0.6 FTE), 12-month fixed-term basis, with the potential to extend beyond the fixed term basis and increase hours. The successful candidate will need to have availability to work on a Monday and ideally on a Wednesday and Friday, however, this can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Your duties will be:
Facilitate the smooth processing of recruitment and selection activities including job ad writing and posting, phone screening, organising interviews and progressing offers.
Coordinating the on-boarding and induction process for all new staff
Ensuring that CBS Inc. recruitment and procedures are followed, and providing information and advice in relation to these procedures when required
HR Administration tasks including maintaining electronic personnel files, preparing induction packs and ensuring all new and current staff have relevant screening checks
Preparing contracts of employment, change to terms letters and employee correspondence
Project-related activities including assisting with the implementation of a recruitment system.
You will require:
Previous experience in recruitment, human resources or related discipline
Experience with HRIS (Employment Hero or similar) and recruitment software would be advantageous
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and relate to staff, external providers and the public
Ability to demonstrate and maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
Self-motivation, innovation and adaptability
Demonstrated capacity to work with minimal supervision and effectively collaborate and work as part of a team
Experience in the not-for-profit or Disability sector would be advantageous
DHS Working with Children Check and DHS Disability Employment Screening (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
Valid Drivers Licence.
