Northern Caterers Electrical commenced operation in 1993 and was established to provide specialist dual trade Electrical, Mechanical and Refrigeration service to the catering and hospitality industry. The business is now a division of Aintree Contracting.

Over the years, the company has grown due to the focus on customer care and maintain a broad base of expertise within our field.  Our focus on B2B only means our priorities about helping business run efficiently and effectively enable us to deliver on planned outcomes within time and budget constraints.

The scope of service has expanded to cover all types of commercial food processing and beverage equipment, washing machinery, ice makers, fridges, cool rooms and freezer rooms, refrigerated transport, marine refrigeration, air conditioning, blast chillers and commercial/industrial laundry equipment.

We also service the independent supermarket industry and have extensive experience in the installation and maintenance of refrigeration rack systems.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Manager, your role is to maintain and expand our client base within Tasmania and in time, interstate. Primarily looking after existing clients ranging from hotels, farms, transport, schools, aged care homes and many others, the successful candidate needs to be switched on, enthusiastic, an expert at relationship building and importantly understand the importance of finding solutions for our clients.

  • Maintain a call cycle for all clients within Tasmania to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Enhance the strong sales/revenue pipeline.
  • Implement sales strategies to enhance incremental sales with existing clients.
  • Maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers within our customer base
  • Provide focused solutions to clients on products and services.
  • Maintain CRM with up to date account details.
  • Analysis of customer sales history
  • Understand the customers' business and how to add value.
  • Strive to exceed quarterly budgets and KPI's.

About you

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven sales experience within the hospitality and/or facilities sector in Tasmania.
  • Exceptional communication and rapport building skills.
  • Comfortable in providing technical information and have an understanding on quoting and tender building
  • Great time management skills and be a team player that is self-motivated.
  • Possess the experience and confidence to engage at a senior level or at the front line.
  • Know how to present and proactively sell solutions.
  • Be able to operate at a fast pace and adapt to changing market conditions against strong competitors.
  • Have attention to detail and a desire to succeed.
  • Have experience using CRM Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Possess a current drivers licence.
  • Willingness to undertake some domestic travel.
