Based in regional NSW, Summit Cranes is a fast growing crane and labour hire company and is a specialised supplier to the resource & construction industries, including mining, gas & oil and large scale construction. The Role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Finance Officer to provide financial support to the company and coordinate all aspects of finance processing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of finance processing and reporting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking and payroll processing
  • Operate the accounting package (Xero) and ensure accuracy is maintained
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation and submission of expenses
  • Management of invoicing and debtors
  • Provide detailed listings of all outstanding invoices during the month end process and escalate any issues that arise to the Director
  • Update employee records and process payroll
  • BAS preparation
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Director
  • Ability to identify and implement business improvement processes

Qualifications and experience: 

  • Qualifications in finance, commerce, economics, accounting or business
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures 
  • 5+ years proven experience in a finance officer role
  • Previous experience in the Construction industry will be highly regarded
