Social Media Manager & Virtual Assistant

Who we are:

Busy Made Simple is an innovative company, working virtually for many businesses around Australia to create efficiencies and streamline processes. We handle Administration tasks such as email and diary management, social media management, website development and so much more.

We specialise in providing tailored solutions to assist small business owners in addressing their administration needs.

Kirsten, the director of Busy Made Simple works closely with business owners bringing quality service, experience, and a heart-centred approach.

The Role:

Working in a small team, you'll work from home to provide our clients with high-quality social media posts and other administrative support.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Initial consultations to get to know the client individually, and the heart of their business
    - Creating the business' personality profile,
  • Liaising with clients about social media development and improvements,
  • Thinking strategically around how to build an authentic audience,
  • Creating social media posts that are relevant and will engage the audience,
  • Exploring and working with social media analytics,
  • Scheduling social media post at optimal times during the day,
  • Basic social media ads,
  • Helping with other ad-hoc administrative tasks,

You'll work closely with Kirsten and the team to ensure you feel supported in your online role and to uphold the company values and standards.

Experience in the following systems are REQUIRED:

  • Canva
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Pinterest
  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook Business Manager
  • Hootsuite

Experience in the following systems are HIGHLY REGARDED:

  • Photoshop
  • Acuity
  • Active Campaign
  • Linktree
  • Other social media scheduling systems

You MUST be:

  • A proactive self-starter
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Able to learn new skills quickly
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Creative
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Have a warm, friendly, helpful personality with a willingness to take direction and follow protocols
  • Fast at turning your tasks around
  • An efficient and reliable person with high work ethic, multi-tasking abilities and high initiative
  • Show an interest in areas such as coaching, acupuncture, naturopathy etc
  • Available over the Christmas period to complete work.

What we need from you:

  • You will:
    • Receive your weekly tasks with deadlines via email on a Monday morning
    • Complete each of the tasks by the set deadline
    • Be flexible and patient to changing priorities
    • Have your own computer with a video camera to meet with Kirsten regularly
    • Have your own internet connection with an unlimited data allowance
