We are a well-established Veterinary practice looking for a dynamic, motivated and experienced Receptionist with outstanding customer service and communication skills to join our team. The role is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week 5 days a week, 9am to 5pm.
Experience in client service and managing reception is essential to this role. This newly created position requires the successful applicant to lead in the area of reception and to have excellent team skills. You must be able to ensure that the tasks are completed in a timely manner. Training with a veterinary reception focus will be provided.
Previous reception experience is essential.
An excellent telephone manner and good interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
A team player with a Positive, friendly and professional attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited)
Meeting and greeting clients and our patients in a professional, courteous manner.
Managing multiple telephone lines and email enquiries in a fast paced environment.
Scheduling appointments and liaising with staff as required.
Being accountable for the workflow in the reception area.
Complete administration duties required in this leadership role.
Processing payments and billing including insurance claims
Maintain hygiene protocols for the reception area waiting room.
Data entry and general administration duties as required.
Commitment to your role and the ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
